This website is full of information for young people, parents and professionals. Young Minds is the national charity committed to improving the mental health of young people. It gives tactful advice and practical information about most teen issues, from ADHD, alcohol, drugs, gambling, self harm, depression, eating problems, crime + youth justice, bullying, abuse, and many more. This site tells you exactly what can be done to help these issues in words that you can actually understand!

The well-known helpline also has a website where you can type in your problem or question into the question box, and ChildLine will try and help by giving lots of examples in the form of a problem page. ChildLine deal with a range of problems from personal appearances to divorce, drugs and bullying.

This site gives advice, information and professional help for 13-19 year olds. The site gives advice on careers and education, the different youth services available, housing projects, and health issues. Also has information on being a Millennium Volunteer, the Partnership for Young London, and the new Connexion card. This site also allows you to select the borough you live in, so you can find out what is happening for young people in your area.

This is a website that focuses on health matters and going into hospital. It has been set up with help from Great Ormond Street Hospital For Children, so if you, or anyone you know, is going into hospital, this is the site that will help put your mind at ease. It even has separate Boys Only and Girls Only sections. The issues the site deals with include anything from contraception, pregnancy, and smoking, to headaches, exam stress and even blisters!!!

This American site gives you all the low-down on love, flirting and relationship problems. So whether you’re still in love with your ex, have snogging concerns, or are unsure whether you are gay or bisexual, this is the site to check out. This website has lots of great advice about relationships and peer pressure, as well as important sex information. The site also has lots of fun quizzes that will keep you amused for hours, such as “Are you a good kisser?”, “Are you in love?”, and “Are you ready for sex?”. There is also a FAQs page that gives advice on anything from suicide, sex, kissing, and smoking, to part time jobs, racism and breast implants!
