PARTY IN THE PLACE

Sutton Youth Service’s Party In The Park moved indoors this half term to create a new night for young people called Party In The Place.
This was held at the Life Centre within the 360 room and their street scene area. 60 young people came to dance and be part of a great night of music as well as education for young people. The 360 projection room offered a great back drop of moving image projections around the room as the Youth FM DJ’s played tunes to suit the mood of the evening.
It was great to see so many people dancing at the event.
Young people who turned up also had the opportunity to chill out in the ‘street scene’ area and take advantage of the educational stalls that were there. These ranged from getting information, advice and guidance on Sexual Heatlh and Relationships, Drugs & Alcohol education as well as smoking education and also careers guidance with the support of a Connexions staff member.
